Tancharelle Washington is a courageous warrior, advocate, and survivor. For over 20 years, she has been a tireless force in creating and implementing rape recovery and domestic violence initiatives, advocating for marginalized communities.

In 2022, this fight became personal.

During her own cancer treatment, Tancharelle experienced firsthand the gaps in supportive care and the overwhelming challenge of navigating the system. She saw a critical need for actionable blueprints to help others—not just to survive, but to live fully.

Driven by this purpose, she founded Courage Over Cancer from her hospital bed. Her mission is to provide the resources, holistic support, and community she recognized was missing, ensuring that no one has to walk this path alone.
