We curate personal care needs for marginalized individuals during their cancer journey. We advocate based on three major initiatives, all centered on the core belief that everyone deserves to 'live now'.
Our Three Major Initiatives
- 1. Close the Barriers
- We work to facilitate clear and compassionate communication between cancer patients and physicians, ensuring patient voices are heard and understood.
- 2. Enhance Quality of Care
- We predict and meet unmet needs by providing 'Courageous Care Packages' and holistic support resources, including yoga, meditation, and breath work.
- 3. Provide Vital Resources
- We are the bridge between the community and life-saving innovation. Through our partnership with LCMC Health, we actively recruit and support minority participation in breast cancer clinical trials, ensuring therapies are effective for all women.
Minority participation in clinical trials is critically low. Courage Over Cancer is changing that narrative by building trust and providing access.
The Courageous Care Package
More than just a box, our care package is a "hug" for patients. Each one is filled with supportive, holistic, and comforting items designed to provide encouragement and support during treatment.
Inspired by our founder's journey and the legacy of Jessica Honeycutt, these packages are a tangible reminder that no one is alone in their fight.
